Sixty members and guests got together in the Village Hall for our Annual Christmas Quiz with ( of course) a horticultural theme. The Village Hall was transformed into a Christmas Grotto for the night with fantastic decorations courtesy of Diana Precious.
Whilst eating a Ploughman’s Supper attendees ,organised into teams, got into full swing trying to solve the devilish questions set by our Quiz master, Richard Bass. After the supper, results were scored and announced with prizes awarded to the winning team.
The losing team receiving the Booby prizes (of decorated wooden spoons) that have become greatly sought after. Indeed such is their attraction that the teams outdo themselves trying to loose!
The evening finished in a high mood with the raffle.
As usual a great time was had by all. Huge thanks to all those who helped make it such a success .
